As we continue to plan for the upcoming 2022-23 school year and the opening of Elementary #11 to its own school community, RSD is looking for parent, student and community nominations for names for our newest school. 

The nomination form will be open until Feb. 28. All suggested names will be reviewed by Elementary #11 core leadership team of administrators and teachers to narrow them to a list of 10-20 possibilities. These will then be presented to the community to determine the top three to four names for presentation to the Richland School Board to make the final decision.

SUBMIT YOUR SUGGESTED SCHOOL NAME

Any name suggestion to be considered must align with RSD Policy 9250:

“District school or support facilities, new or existing, will be named after geographic characteristics of the area in which the facility is located or after deceased persons who have achieved local or national stature resulting from enduring contributions in the fields of education, arts and sciences, historical significance to the region, military achievements and statesmanship. Names must not conflict with names of other schools in the district or surrounding districts.”
